Question 3 - B2
One major theme of this module is that employers need to know the dollar value that employees place on benefits.
Suppose your employer provides two options: 1) $80,000 annual salary with no educational assistance plan, or 2) $67,500 annual salary and a comprehensive educational assistance plan, which fully sponsor your tuition and fees to a regionally recognized university (this applies to all types of higher education degree). The tuition and fees normally incur $25,000 out-of-pocket expenses per year. If you plan to earn a degree in the next few years, which plan will you choose? Please provide your justification. Explain concisely why employers need to know what employees need?
