(a) A transmitter has a total of 14 frames to transmit, the window size of 5, with sequence numbers 0 to 7, with the seventh and ninth frames are received with errors. Show the flow of frames if Sliding Window Selective Reject ARQ is the flow control mechanism in use.

(b)  The following data 1010 0001 10 is being prepared for transmission. Calculate the percentage of redundant data included in the bitstream, for the purpose of error control, in the following scenarios.

i.Hamming Codewords is the error detection/correction mechanism

ii. Single Bit Parity is the error detection mechanism

iii. CRC with a generator polynomial of X5 + X3 + 1 as the error detection mechanism

(c) A Transmitter has a total of eight frames to transmit. The sequence numbers are 0-3 and the window size is 4.
Document the flow of frames if Sliding Window – Go Back N ARQ is the flow control mechanism and the fifth frame transmitted contains errors and the seventh frame is lost.
